Janet's Album Cover...
Below you can check out Janet's official album cover. The first million copies of the album will feature the winning covers from Janet's "Design Me" contest but after those are sold out, this is the cover that will be used. Speaking of Janet's album, she's changed the name of her album from "20 Years Old" to "20 Y.O.". Yeah, I know that's not a major change, but they put out a press release announcing the name change so I guess it's important, lol.

Deja Vu???
Rihanna recently performed at a party for the World Series of Poker and the outfit she's wearing looks kinda familiar. I like Rihanna but that's one ugly outfit. I swear it's Deja Vu. Oh yeah, before some of you have a fit because I referenced you know who, chill out, it's not that serious. It's only an observation, not the end of the world, lol...

Did Trina Lose a Baby???
I was sent an email with this information about Trina having a miscarriage. The information was posted on Trina's fansite Trinafan.com. First let me state that I don't know how true this is but here is what was POSTED ON HER FANSITE (this info isn't coming from me)...
On July 28, 2006, Trina's assistant called me and she let me know that Trina wanted to speak with me. I spoke with Trina over the phone and she sent me the following message :
Miami born Rap Princess "Trina", who's real name is Katrina Taylor, was hospitalized on June 28, 2006, which was one month ago. According to the private nurse who has asked to keep her name "unknown" to the public said, "The rap star was rushed into the emergency room due to internal bleeding". The nurse said "that she felt very bad for the 5 foot 2 raptress as she cried for non other than her "beau" and fiance Dwayne Carter known as Lil' Wayne".....Trina's ultrasound revealed that she was expecting a baby boy! According to the nurse, Trina cried "God please take me and save my baby".....she was released 2 days later from the hospital to family members.
If this report is indeed true, I send my condolences to Trina and her family. Seeing that Trina was performing at a club on July 12th and looked like she was in good spirits, it's safe to assume that if this story is true, she's gotten over it. Or she's trying to...
Speaking of babies, Kelly Rowland is not pregnant. Big Surprise...not.

Alicia & Cham's "Ghetto Story"...
If you haven't already heard it, click the link below to listen to the remix to Cham's song "Ghetto Story" featuring Alicia Keys. They recently shot a video for the remix in Kingston, Jamaica. Below you can read why director Sanaa Hamri wanted to direct this video. You can check out a few pictures from the video set. Cham's album will be in stores on August 15th...
Of the Cham-Keys project, the director said she was eager to take on directing video because of the content of the song. "I've done a lot of music videos, and I always try to work with people that have something substantial to say, so this was a great project for me because of Cham and Alicia and the song and what they are trying to express in it," she says.
Hamri is well aware of the propensity for music industry to fill music videos with scantily-clad 'hotties' and other similar types of images. "I try to be selective, it's not just a matter of the artistes that I've chosen to work with, but also the material. I don't want to be associated with anything that's going to be demeaning to women or that is not contributing to the upliftment of the youth in general," she says.

On Set with Ciara...
I was sent an email with this picture of Ciara and Chamillionaire from the set of Ciara's "Get Up" video (which I love). I think it's a cute photo, so I decided to share it. Chamillionaire looks different though. I don't know exactly what it is. Ciara looks really pretty. Kinda reminds me of Aaliyah with the black hair and all. This look works for her.Anyway, thanks for the email...
