Retired Judge Jill S. Robbins signed off the divorce papers on August 19th for Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Under California law they have to wait, so they won't be officially divorced until October 2nd, according to court records obtained on Monday.
And here's something I didn't know.

Friends star Miss Aniston, who originally filed for divorce in March, asked for only one thing - to get her name back.

It means she will officially be Jennifer Joanna Aniston once more, according to Los Angeles Superior Court papers filed on Friday...

Am I the only one that didn't know that Jennifer's official name during the marriage was Jennifer Pitt?

Pitt signed off on the divorce papers under his full name of William Bradley Pitt and Miss Aniston - who has officially been called Jennifer Pitt since their wedding - also signed on the dotted line.
