Jermaine and Janet...

The whole time while Janet was carrying that extra weight, Jermaine for the most part rolled solo. Now that she's lost the weight they've been spotted out and about together again. Maybe when Janet was fuller she was self conscious (you know how the photographers kept hounding her about weight gain) or Jermaine may have just been really busy.
