You all know that every now and then I have random thoughts, well here is my random thought for today:
Yesterday I was watching a repeat of the 2005 Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards on VH1. This was the year that they honored Amerie with the "Aretha Franklin Award", this is when I realized Amerie has been MIA this year. Last year Amerie came out with her album ("Touch"), released a hit single ("One Thing"), performed that song everywhere, released another single ("Touch" f. TI), then disappeared. Last month (February 8th) she popped up at the Grammy Awards, but she hasn't been seen since...Where is Amerie???

I LOVED her first album! I hope she puts out something hot too because I wasn't feeling the last CD and I really like her voice-there's something different about it.

That's my Girl though! Amerie straight draw you in with her unique and sometimes irritating riffs, but her style is crazy, she just needs to have the 1 hot "get on" album. I wish that for her cause that's the girl!

She's currently working on her new album.
But yeah she had crappy promotion. With the right team behind her, her album "Touch" could've done much better. It had some hot songs on there.

Yeah, her first album was hot; it was on that old school NY tip. But as for her 2nd album, they tried to make her like Beyonce (yeah I said it). Plus, she can't really sing too good. She could be a model, though.
