Ashanti announced at a dinner hosted by Miss Sixty, celebrating their runway debut, that she would be launching "OPC Beauty Blend multi-vitamins" this [past] weekend in Miami.
"I travel everywhere with my stylist and she’s always getting sick, so I tell her to take her vitamins," she said, adding that when traveling, she takes a combination of Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Echinacea. "She’s not here tonight, in fact, because she’s sick." After unveiling the product at the American Airlines arena, Ashanti will fly back to New York, where she plans on attending the Luca Luca, Vivienne Tam, and Marc Jacobs shows.
Ashanti is definitely a business woman. I don't know of any other young celebrities that thought to get in the vitamin business. Ashanti said her albums might not sell like they used to, but that won't stop her from getting her money. Well, she didn't say that forreal, but I know that's what she's thinking.

I like the way Ashanti dresses. She doesn't dress any different from Beyonce or other young black starlets.

Good Idea Ashanti. This is a first for black r&b singers. Let's see who tries to copy, cause you know somebody will.

Well you gotta get it how you live and if she making her money the best way she can than cant nobody knock her. An 9 times out of 10 somebody gone claim they did it first and Asahnti will be over looked again an not giving any credit.

But a true business woman does not have to have herself splashed across the product you sell because you believe in the product she is still trying to sell herself not the product..the best business people work behind the scenes...stick at what you do best has she really got behind this product researched this project before she put her name to it LAB TEST...so in a couple of years it wont be a FIN FIN case and everybody want to sue her ass?
Not sure about this venture....
