Ashanti performed at the "Hyundai Presents Sara Hughes and Friends" show that aired on January 22nd. The show was taped in Long Island, New York. Ashanti performed "Rock Wit U", "Foolish", "Happy", and "Only U" while the ice-skaters skated in front of her. You can watch videos of her performances below. She was'nt lip synching. I was at the show and she sang the songs except for Only U. I watched it again when it aired and she WAS singing.There was alot that they did'nt air too.

Actually this was a charity event for the kid survivors of 911. Sarah Hughes is from Long Island and since Ashanti is also from Long Island.. Sarah asked her to be a part of it.
Like it or not Ashanti is a hustler and she ain't going nowhere anytime soon.

anon 9:11pm don't sound like an idiot you do anon 9:57pm...have you ever been to a live concert. If so you would know that many performers will lip synch songs where there are doing alot of dancing and on slower songs they will sing them live. That's what Ashanti did at this show. Actually on "Only You" she would come in now and again with live vocals.
And yes this was an charity event their were several news articles stating this...this show was actually taped in October!!!
