Ashanti is a Busy Woman...

Ashanti is definitely working her way back into the spotlight. She was M.I.A. for a little while but now she's everywhere. She performed on "Live with Regis and Kelly" yesterday morning. She didn't do bad, she danced, and she sounded descent. She also made appearances on TRL and "106th and Park". Her new album, "Collectables", was released on December 6th. On Saturday she was signing autographs for Mudd's "Delicious Curves" jeans line in Chicago. Go Ashanti...It's good to have you back!!!

Signing autographs on Saturday...

On TRL on December 6th, 2005

I think Ashanti has staying power int he industry. Its good to see her looking "fresh" again. I enjoy her music and hopefully now that Murder Inc. is getting rid of some of its legal turmoil. She can get that momentum she had back in 2002.

That superlong weave with the nice smooth frontal edges really works for her. You give off an air of confidence I think when the hair is pulled away from the face. Not too many start go that way. She looks younger that way.

she needed to disappear.....she was way overexposed & over-rated when she came on the scene.... phoof-be-gone!!

still ugly, still can't sing, looks like she is having a stroke when she is dancing. This girl has nothing going for her. She must be sleeping with someone in the top ranks for her to still be in the industry. And why does she always laugh and for no reason. Yesterday on Trl she kept laughing and her laugh is scary. Mouth and tongue out and hahahahahhaaaaaaaa it is so strange!!

^^^^COME ON, SHE AINT UGLY KEEP IT REAL!DONT HATE!BUT I DO AGREE WITH THE DANCING, SHE CAN NOT DANCE AT ALL! BUT THATS SOMETHING THAT CAN BE TAUGHT IF SHE PUTS HER ALL INTO IT....SHES A SINGER NOT A DANCER ANYWAY, MAYBE SHE SHOULDN TRY AND DANCE IN HER VIDEOS UNTIL SHE LEARNS A MOVE OR SOMETHING, AND THAT LAUGHING!!!! I THINK THATS A SECURITY ISSUE I GUESS!!! IT IS KINDA STRANGE...CUZZ AINT SHIT FUNNY!

Yay, Ashanti, glad to have you back.

I picked up the cd...the remixes are good. I'm really feeling the Focus remix with Free from 106 & Park.

They didn't promote this cd like others because it is essentially a remix cd and they don't expect it to sell well. But pick it up anyway it's $9.99 at Target, Best Buy and Circuit City.

I think Ashanti is a cute girl. But, let's get it right...she is not a singer, she is a songwriter and she needs to stick to that. It's all good. Those are who make the real money anyway. She is young and cute so of course she wants to be out there..but unfortunately she can't sing...I hate that feeling of really hanging on and mentally pulling for the person to make the notes...I can't do it anymore....can we get some real singers out here puleaze. Back in the day, the singers weren't drop dead gorgeous but they left it all on the stage....they didn't hold back.. I got some old footage of some of the greats...it's a shame what is passed off as talent now and days...Can not wait for the return of Mary J and Laryn Hill...c'mon y'all show these trophies how it is done.
