Rihanna's Clothing Controversy

Rihanna, the 17 year old girl behind the summer hit 'Pon de Replay', went home recently to Barbados and caused a stir with her outfit.
A STORM of unfair criticism in a teacup of misunderstanding and pettiness.
That's the reaction of Evan Rogers, a United States producer, to some of the negative comments in Barbados about Rihanna, the Bajan singing sensation whose appearance 50 yards away from a beach resort dressed in a pair of jeans and a bathing suit created quite a media stir in Barbados, especially on a call-in programme.

"Personally, for a girl who is 17-years-old to be wearing a bathing suit with jeans while she is crossing the street from a beach resort, I find it almost unbelievable that people are outraged by that," added Rogers.
