Paul McCartney's wife, Heather Mills McCartney, went to protest against Jennifer Lopez because she uses fur in her clothing collection, Sweetface. She was protesting with her PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) group. But things didn't go as planned, she got into a fight with security guards outside of Jennifer's New York office and lost her prosthetic leg (she lost her "real" leg in a traffic accident).
Mills lost the leg in the fray and, after she recovered it, she asked the bodyguards to let her go to the bathroom, so she could attach it back. But the guards refused her, yelling "You have no authority to be here. Get out! Leave the floor immediately!"
Photographer Richard Corkery tells 25hoursonline.com: "I saw her touch her knee and I could see she was in pain. She limped to the ladies room but it was locked. I found another door open. It led on to the stairwell. At least she could have a private moment, which is what she needed."Ok, maybe she shouldn't have been there, but those security guards could have at least allowed her to put her leg back on. Isn't there some kind of handicap law for stuff like this?
