Rihanna is a new artist on the Def Jam roster. She was born in Barbados and moved to the US earlier this year. All it took was a quick audition for Def Jam President, Jay-Z, for the 17 year old singer to be signed. She names Mariah Carey,Alicia Keys, and Beyonce as her influences. Her anticipated album "Music of the Sun" is slated for an August release. Her song "Pon de Replay" is quickly turning into one of the summer's hottest records. Click the link to hear it.
