On Saturday in California, Nas, Redman, Ghostface and Raekwon headlined the Rock the Bells concert in Southern California. I'll skip over all of the boring stuff (Redman, Ghostface and Raekwon) and tell you about Nas. So it is no secret that Nas doesn't like 50 Cent since 50 made the song "Piggy Bank" disrespecting Nas, and Nas has answered. At the concert he performed "Ether", you know the battle rhyme he made going against Jay-Z, but he changed it up this time.
He did "Ether," his classic battle track directed at Jay-Z, but asked his DJ, LES, not to play Jay's name, saying, "Don't say his name. We love him." Most of the crowd screamed out "50 Cent!" in place of Jay-Z, showing support instead for his latest feud.
Though I have to admit, I love Jay-Z, I didn't see that coming, you know, Nas saying 'We love Jay-Z'. Now all we have to do is get 50 Cent to share the love.
