Well not financially, but she did break some bones. Tuesday she fell off her horse while celebrating her 47th birthday and broke her collar bone, hand, and cracked some ribs. But don't shed any tears, she's recovering just fine on her country estate in London.
"She is recovering at home," Barbara Charone said. "We don't have any other update at this stage."Madonna's Lesson Learned: Don't ride new horses
Madonna's New York publicist said the American artist, famous around the world for hits including "Material Girl" and "Like a Virgin," was riding a new horse at the time of the fall.
She was rushed to a local hospital in Salisbury by film director[her husband] Ritchie and later discharged.
Madonna is due to release her new album "Confessions on a Dancefloor" in November. Charone said she did not expect Madonna's injuries, which will take weeks to heal, to affect the launch or promotion of the record.
"As far as I know, nothing's been affected," Charone said.
