Katie Holmes is paranoid. She thinks the whole world is talking about her, well not just talking about her, laughing at her.
"She's getting increasingly paranoid as time goes on," a source close to the actress tells Star People. "Katie said that when she walks into a room she feels that people are sniggering at her and laughing behind her back. It reduces her to crying sometimes. She's just not used to be being gossiped about."
The source says Katie, 26, increasingly feels like a "laughingstock" because of skeptical press coverage, and is especially distraught over rumors that her engagement to Tom Cruise, 43, is a publicity stunt.
Wipe away your tears Katie, the world isn't laughing at you. We're laughing at your crazy fiance.
