Mariah's "Legs of a Goddess"...
I never really payed attention to Mariah's legs before this, but now that they've mentioned it, she does have really nice legs. "Legs of a Goddess", I don't know about all of that, but they look good in these pictures.

Video Throwback: Christina & Ja...
In 2002 Christina Milian released her self-titled debut album. The album featured the singles "AM to PM" and "Get Away" featuring Ja Rule, which she released a video for. I used to love this song back in the day but it didn't really get any airplay back then. Especially since in 2002 Ashanti released "Foolish" and made 2002 her year. Speaking of Ashanti, looking back at this video today, Christina kinda reminds me of Ashanti. Maybe Ashanti used the same stylist as Christina back then. Young Dro's "Shoulder Lean" Video...

Nicole on the Beach...
Nicole Richie was spotted out at the beach on May 28th. She's still skin and bones but it looks like she's picked up a little bit of weight. Emphasis on little, but progress is progress. Anyway, some recent reports are saying that her weightloss was the result of a diet pill addiction. The source is an alleged "friend" of Nicole's, so you can believe or not believe it. Nicole is one of my favorite people and I just hope she fixes whatever is wrong with her. Speaking of Nicole, her show, "The Simple Life: 'til death do up part," with her former best friend Paris Hilton will be premiering June 4th at 10pm on E!.

Beyonce's highly anticipated sophomore album is set to be released in the US on September 5th (the day after her 25th birthday) and it will be called "B'Day".
The pop music superstar's sophomore studio album premieres all new music co-produced, written and arranged by Beyonce. "Deja Vu," the album's first single, features guest artist Jay-Z with co-production by Rodney Jerkins. Beyonce's co-producers on B'Day include Rich Harrison, The Neptunes, and Swizz Beatz.
Beyonce's new album is the artist's first full-length solo work since her #1 multi-platinum 2003 solo debut, "Dangerously In Love," which earned her five 2004 Grammy Awards including Best Contemporary R&B Album and Best R&B Song ("Crazy In Love"). You all already know that I'm looking forward to Beyonce's album. This is a kinda big year for music, well at least a big Summer/Fall. I can't wait, I'm a fan of all three of them...

Catch Up With Kimora...
Kimora Lee Simmons has been really busy lately. On May 25th she attended an AIDS benefit in Cannes, on the 26th she participated in a photoshoot for Petra Nemcova's "Big Red Book" and attended a Dolce & Gabbana Party. She looked beautiful at the benefit, she looks pretty but a bit "draggish" during the red photoshoot (I think it's the hair and make-up), and overdone at the D&G party. She looks twice baked, something is off with her bronzer and make-up. The dress is pretty but it reminds me of Miss America. That silver thing makes me think of the sash that they wear. Kimora's one of my favorite people, but I've got to call it like I see it. Keyword: I, you're welcome to disagree...

MTV Video Music Awards Japan ...
The 2006 MTV Video Music Awards Japan took place on May 27th. A lot of celebrities came out for the event including John Legend, Kelly Rowland, Rihanna, Trey Songz, and MICHAEL JACKSON. He made a rare appearance to pick up the "Legend Award".
Introduced to an adoring crowd at a Tokyo stadium as "the king of pop, the king of rock and the king of soul," Jackson flashed a quick "peace" sign as he walked onstage to the sound of one of his biggest hits, "Thriller". "I'd like to say to the Japanese people from the bottom of my heart, 'I love you very, very much'," the 47-year-old entertainer said.
Receiving a "Legend Award" at MTV's Japan Video Music Awards ceremony, Jackson said, "I thank the fans around the world and I thank the fans in Japan. "I promised myself I wouldn't be emotional when I got up here," he continued, as his voice cracked and trailed off. Then he added, "I think you are very sweet, generous and kind people. "I thank all the people who believed in me. I believe in you. I thank my children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, who have been there for me," he added. "I love them very much."

It's a Girl... and a Boy!!
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's daughter, Shiloh, arrived yesterday. Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale's son, Kingston, arrived Friday.
Jolie gave birth to a daughter in the African nation of Namibia on Saturday (May 27), The Associated Press reports. Pitt's publicist announced the arrival of the baby girl, which the couple named Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. Jolie and Pitt have not released further information on the birth. This is the first biological child for both. Shiloh Nouvel joins adopted siblings Maddox and Zahara.
[Gwen] delivered her baby at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (May 26), according to her label representative. Stefani's rep issued a brief statement that read, "Both mother and child are doing well." Stefani and her husband, rocker Gavin Rossdale, named the child Kingston James McGregor Rossdale; he weighed in at 7.5 pounds.The birth marks Stefani's first child and Rossdale's second — his 16-year-old daughter Daisy Lowe is from a previous relationship.

I was sent this song in an email and I've been in love with it since I first heard it. The song is by Lyfe and it's called "S.E.X.". The song is about young females dealing with the pressures of growing into womanhood. I need all of you to listen to this song and if you have teenage daughters, play it for them too. This song is so true to life. We all know that old dude from the block that is always trying to holla at all the young girls from around the way. LeToya on "106 and Park"...
LeToya performed her single "Torn" on "106 and Park" yesterday. The performance wasn't bad. Though it did prove that she's just like most of the other female R&B singers out today, real pretty with an average voice. I like LeToya, but I really wasn't that impressed with the performance. Hopefully her stage presence will improve with time. Oh yeah, go ahead and resist that urge to call me hater, lol. It's not hating, if it's the truth. Plus, I really do want her to succeed. But on another note, I love her hair, it always looks good...

Leaders of the New School...
There are a lot of fairly new, young R&B artists running around these days. There's Teairra Mari, Omarion, Ciara, Trey Songz, Rihanna (hold up, is she R&B?), LeToya, Mario and a lot of other people. Vibe magazine dubbed Chris Brown the "future of R&B" in their February 2006 issue. In a special issue of XXL magazine, their "Hip Hop Soul" issue, they've name Keyshia Cole and Neyo the "Leaders of the New School". I'm still not sure about Chris Brown being the future of R&B, (he's really talented, I just think it's a little premature to call him "the future"), but I'm kinda feeling Keyshia and Ne-yo as the "Leaders of the New School". I love Keyshia's sound and Ne-yo is definitely doing his thing right now (in front of and behind the scenes). You can check out their magazine cover below. Mariah at "Music Visionary" Event...
On May 24th Mariah Carey attended the Music Visionary of the Year Award Breakfast held at Fred's at Barney's, New York City. I don't really like the dress she's wearing, the top looks a bit matronly, but at least her breasts aren't hanging out. Jay-Z, Russell Simmons, and LA Reid were also in attendance. Pharrell's GQ Shoot...
Check out pictures of Pharrell from a photoshoot he did for GQ earlier this year. I really like Pharrell, he's different, very unique. Kinda reminds me of like the male version of Kelis. He's from Virginia, too (you know I had to throw that in, lol). Oh yeah, his album "In My Mind" will be in stores on July 25th.
The debut solo album from Neptunes mastermind Pharrell Williams is finally (re)scheduled for release after months of delays. In My Mind is now expected to drop July 25, according to a spokesperson. It will include guest spots from Jay-Z, Daddy Yankee, Gwen Stefani and others and be preceded by the new single, "Number 1," featuring Kanye West.

Her upcoming album is called "20 Years Old", so I guess her plan is to look 20 years old as well. Janet Jackson is looking better than most 20 year olds, her body is crazy. I'm sure they air-brushed it a little bit for the magazine, but whatever. Air-brush, photoshop, pounds of make-up, or just plain hard work, whatever it is, she looks good. I'm sure by now you know she gained the weight for a movie role that didn't work out...
"They (the producers) wanted to see me in a different light, as a heavier woman," the 40-year-old singer, who weighed about 180 pounds at her heaviest, tells Us magazine in an issue on newsstands Friday. The timing didn't quite work with trying to finish my album, and unfortunately I wasn't able to do the film," she is quoted as saying. (The role went to Mariah Carey.) "So I found myself having to take this weight off a lot quicker than I had planned." Jackson says she packed on the pounds by eating whatever she wanted. "'Ooh, that looks good, give me that whole slice of cake!' That was the fun part," she says. "(Eventually) I would look in the mirror and I wouldn't recognize myself."
The 5-foot-4-inch Jackson says she got back into shape in four months by eating "nice, balanced meals" and working out with a trainer. Her longtime boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri, was a motivation. "I've never had someone love me for me, so unconditionally, the way he does, regardless of my size," she says. "He was never any different toward me." When asked about reaction to her plus-size body, Jackson says, "People didn't treat me differently to my face, but I'm sure they had their whispers behind my back. But I didn't feel bad about myself at all. It was part of my job."

Amerie is "None of the Above"...
On May 23rd in an interview with Vibe.com while at the Sprite Street Couture Showcase, Amerie informed them that her upcoming album is close to completion (Fall release date) and will be called "None of the Above"...
"It’s called None of The Above because I feel like as people we never like to be in boxes and myself, I never like to feel like I’m categorized," Amerie exclusively told Vibe."Everyone is always trying to put me in a box, as far as growing up, ethnicity-wise and racially like 'What Am I?' 'What do I think I'm more of?'
"I feel like with this album, I really got to have fun and create a lot of different things. I mean I just create music. I just do my thing," said Amerie. "It (the new album) goes from like '70s funk to the '80s music that we all grew up listening to and I just meshed it all together with my signature style."
I like Amerie and all but does she even have a signature style??? She hasn't done enough of one thing to have a signature. "Why Don't We Fall In Love" was completely different from "1 Thing" and think those are her only hits, correct me if I'm wrong. But, whatever. I don't think that there are that many female R&B artists, and I know I get put in that category [just] because I'm Black. I welcome that. At the end of the day, I don't care what you call it; you can call it country music. I do what I do and feel great about it, because this is not an easy job.

Every now and then I would question whether or not they were still together. Not because I heard anything about a break up but because I rarely saw them out together. Taylor is the American Idol!!!
"American Idol" was so good tonight. It was nice to see Chris, Paris, Mandisa, Elliott, and all of the contestants again. Mary J. Blige did a really good job in her performance with Elliott but I kinda wish she would've let Elliott shine a little bit more. But they did a good job nonetheless. The ladies all looked nice in their red dresses and Taylor killed it with the harmonica. Elliott sounded so good tonight, especially when he was singing "A House is Not a Home". Oh yeah, Toni Braxton sounded a mess, I couldn't understand what she was saying!! The "What's New Pussycat" song had me dying laughing and I don't why. There were a lot of interesting moments in the show, I can't think of all of them right now. Anyway, Prince was a pleasant surprise...

Random Observation:Taylor's win continues the trend of southerners winning "American Idol". He follows in the footsteps of Kelly Clarkson (Texas), Ruben Studdard (Alabama), Fantasia Barrino (North Carolina), and Carrie Underwood (Oklahoma). Not "So Amazin" Sales...
So the Billboard numbers are in and Christina Milian's album debuted at #11 with sales of about 50,000. Now, I'm not a big fan of the album but I thought it would at least hit the 100,000 mark. The album really isn't that bad. At least she had a higher debut than her last album, "It's About Time", which debuted at #14 in 2004. Maybe with the release of her next single, her sales will increase. Rumor has it that "Gonna Tell Everybody" will be her next single. Anyway, Cam'ron's album "Killa Season" came in at #2 with 114,000 copies sold.
Cam'ron's Asylum release "Killa Season" bows at No. 2 on The Billboard 200, the same spot his debut solo record sat in four years ago. His third album moved 114,000 copies, which despite the No. 2 entry, is the rapper's weakest debut week. 2004's "Purple Haze" sold 123,000 and his 2002 debut "Come Home with Me" sold 226,000. "Killa" replaces the Isley Brothers' "Baby Makin' Music" at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

On May 22nd Damon Dash and his wife Rachel Roy attended the launch party for Revlon's fragrance, "Flair". His wife is pretty, she looks really classy. But what is up with Dame and those eyeglasses? They remind me of the eyeglasses old men and some children in special-ed classes wear. I'm sure Dame doesn't fall into either of those categories. I guess he's trying to start a trend. Oprah's Legends Ball...
Oprah's Legends Ball aired on May 22nd on ABC and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was so nice and inspiring to see all of those beautiful, successful, and humble black women. The poem written by Pearl Cleage, "We Speak Your Names", was just lovely. I also loved the impromptu gospel "sing-along" they had at the brunch on Sunday. Miss Patti tore it down, lol. This show reminded me of just how proud I am to be a black woman...

Queen Latifah Honored...
Queen Latifah was honored with the William "Jazz" Jones Brightest Star Award by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newark at their 18th annual "Evening of the Stars" event on May 22nd in New York. The gala recognizes contributions toward improving the quality of life of inner-city children and their families. I love to see people give back to their communities, it's a beautiful thing. Now on a more superficial note, I hate that outfit she's wearing. Something about the fit just isn't right. New Music from Monica...
Rave Reviews for "Dreamgirls"...
I've been excited about this movie since I first found out that it was going to be made. After reading reviews from the preview this weekend in Cannes, I see I have good reason to be excited. The footage that was seen by the audience has received rave reviews across the board. There was already Oscar buzz surrounding the movie but now the buzz is more of a roar. Everybody is talking about "Dreamgirls" and they all have positive things to say. Don't believe me??? Click Here to See for Yourself. Remember, last week, we reported that Christina Milian was rumored to be dating producer/rapper Dre, of the production duo Cool & Dre. Well, Nick Cannon isn’t wasting anytime either. Apparently, he’s been seeing the sexy Carribean songstress, Rihanna, says US Weekly. Now, the interesting thing here is that Christina and Rihanna are actually labelmates. So don’t expect any collaborations from the two of them in the near future.
Oh yeah, before the question even comes up, she's legal. Rihanna is 18 and Nick is 25.

"Dreamgirls" at Cannes...
On May 19th "Dreamgirls" was shown during the Cannes film festival. The audience was given a 20 minute preview of the movie. The movie's stars made appearances on the red carpet.
Wearing a blue dress with a flower pattered train designed by her mother Tina Knowles, Beyoncé showed off her slim new figure. "I lost 20 pounds [for the movie]," she tells ET. "The hardest thing was six months of dedication, but this was so important to me I would do anything." The star is soaking up the Cannes experience. "It feels so wonderful to be here," she says. "It's a whole new energy."
She's not the only one feeling the excitement. "This is my first time [at Cannes]," Jamie says. "I'm in a great mood and having a great time here in the south of France." Being at the Cannes Film Festival is also a huge thrill for Jennifer, as the former "American Idol" finalist is making her big screen debut in the film. "It's just amazing," she says. "It's an honor to be here."

Poor Little Sean...
I really want to believe that Britney Spears will succeed at this whole motherhood thing, but everytime I turn around she's in the news because she some how messed up. First she was spotted driving with Sean Preston on her lap, then she was criticized for feeding Sean ice-cream, now she's in the news because she almost dropped the baby. Danielle Won!!!
I was a little upset with Tyra at the beginning of the episode when she kept going on and on about Danielle's accent. As a woman with a southern accent, I was a little offended at first. I was like, if Tyra sends Danielle home because of her accent, I'm never watching this show again. But when I saw that Jade was the first person eliminated, I got over it, lol. When Tyra announced Danielle as the winner of "America's Next Top Model", I started crying like she called my name. I had been hearing so many people claiming that an "insider" said that Joanie was going to win, that I'd already prepped myself for that outcome. Well, so much for "insiders", because they were dead wrong, lol. I loved both Joanie and Danielle, but I am soooooo happy Danielle took the title. She is by far my favorite winner of "America's Next Top Model". I like her even more than I like Eva. Her CoverGirl picture is gorgeous and it's the best out of the three. Speaking of the other two, I've come to the conclusion that Jade is completely insane. What was up with her snapping??? Anyway, this is about Danielle...

Spotlight On: Zee
I was sent an email on an artist named Zolorale {za-lora-lee} a.k.a Zee and she's from St. Louis, Missouri. She is currently signed to U-C-Me Ent., a label started by St. Louis rapper Potzee and Murphy Lee (St. Lunatics). She's worked with Murphy Lee previously, singing hooks on his album "Murphy's Law". According to her MySpace page, while pursuing her music career she is also in Law School.
Aside from school, Zee stays busy with her most important venture, her young son. Zee's love of music stems from the St.Louis jazz days when her father played around the house and grandma and older sister singing. With inspiration coming from all genre's of music, Zee sights the late Marvin Gaye along with artists of today such as Mary J. Blige and Amel Larrieux for influencing her sweet style of portraying a young woman discovering not only love and relationships, but herself.

On May 16th the 2006 BET Awards Nominees were announced in Hollywood. The Awards will air on June 27th and will be hosted by Damon Wayans. Spotlight On: Brandon Hines
Brandon Hines was born and raised in the heart of Detroit, MI. At 17 years of age, Brandon was apart of the 180 artists selected to compete in LA in the 2003 American Idol competition. Although he was not a finalist in the competition, he was determined to breakthrough the entertainment industry. In 2003 Brandon enrolled in Howard University's prestigious School of Business. He was crowned Mr. Howard for the 2005-2006 school year. The highlight of Brandon's college career was the decision to team up with Heavyweight Ent., a group of multi-talented producers, writers, and engineers at Howard University. Taking the campus by storm within a weekend's time, Brandon's first single, "Overdose", could constantly be heard at all campus events and several DC clubs. Currently, Brandon and Heavyweight Ent. are promoting his debut solo album entitled "Love Music: Falling In...Falling Out".

Golden Needs An Intervention...
I'm going to need the person who works with "Maya" on "Girlfriends" to work with Golden in real life. There is no reason for Golden Brooks to be seen out and about looking the way that she does. It's not like she can't be cute, she looks decent on the show. I know people have bad days every now and then, but she looks a mess everytime she's on a red carpet. MTV's "Super Sweet" Finale...
On Wednesday May 17th, the season finale of MTV's show "My Super Sweet 16" will air at 10:00pm. The show will feature the birthday party of Darnell Robinson, grandson of Joseph and Sylvia Robinson (released the first commercially successful rap single "Rappers Delight" on their label, Sugar Hill Records). His birthday party had a "Coming to America" theme and Rihanna was his Queen. Other celebrity attendees include LaLa, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Lil Mo, and Remy Ma. Ok, so as you probably already know, Charlie Sheen has completely lost his mind. So, I'm not a big fan of his or his wife Denise Richards but I found this story interesting. As you all know they are going through a divorce right now and Denise has accused Charlie of being unstable, violent, and addicted to gambling and prostitutes. She also accuses him of visiting pornographic web sites featuring young men and girls who appear underage. Anyway, in phone transcripts that Denise had of calls from Charlie he called her a nigger. Here is a quote from one of the calls from Charlie:
"Okay, I hope you rot in fucking hell. You're a piece of shit fucking liar and I hope you fucking rot in hell. So fuck you. I hope I never fucking talk to you again you fucking cunt. Fuck You. You're a coward and a liar and a fucking nigger alright so fuck you"
He is crazy and before some of you ask, Denise Richards is white. Anyway, I was reading some of the comments at other sites and some of the people were saying that Charlie's use wasn't really that bad because he was using the word nigger as when it is defined as an ignorant person. Whatever!! I don't care what definition of nigger Charlie was using, he knows the history of the word. That word should have never parted his lips. Oh yeah, he shouldn't be talking to or treating the mother of his children like that anyway...

Here is a quick bio on Mila J from her official site: The Los Angeles native began rapping at age 4 and immediately knew her destiny was to perform. Spike's 20th Anniversay Benefit...
On May 12th Spike Lee had a benifit celebrating the 20th anniversary of his "40 Acres and A Mule" production company.
"40 Acres and a Mule has been making films for 20 years and we've decided to celebrate," said Lee. "We are asking our friends to come aboard, quite literally, and have some fun while we raise money for my two alma maters: Morehouse College's School of Sports Journalism and the Kanbar Institute's Graduate Film Division. This is an opportunity for me to give something back to the two great institutions that have had a major impact on my life."
The event took place aboard the Royal Caribbean: Freedom of the Seas passenger liner, the largest cruise ship in the world. Celebrities in attendance included Oprah, Melvan Van Peebles,Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, George Lucas, Star Jones & Al Reynolds, Magic Johnson, LaTanya Richardson & Samuel L. In case you don't know who Fergie is, she's the girl from the Black Eyed Peas. Anyway, she is looking super old in these recent pictures of her. Tyra and her Lace...
We first noticed Tyra's lace front line when she made her appearance on TRL on May 11th. Now you can see that she had the same problem at the screening of "Oprah's Legends Ball". One of the people over at ONTD noticed all the glue on her fore-head. I'm gonna need Tyra's stylist to blend better, or at least wipe away some of the glue. OJ Simpson's "Juiced"...
OJ Simpson has a new prank DVD coming out soon and it will also be shown on pay-per-view. It's called "Juiced" and he plays dumb little pranks on people, he even has a "prank" where he attempts to sell the infamous white Bronco...
[The show] styles itself as a candid-camera prankfest in the vein of Ashton Kutcher's MTV show Punk'd. Only instead of his unsuspecting victims getting punk'd, they get "juiced" by Simpson, who reportedly turns up disguised as an Elvis impersonator, a pizza delivery man and an elderly white man leading a seniors' bingo game.
The bit that's causing the biggest outcry is one in which Simpson tries to sell his Bronco. He turns up at a used car lot and begins talking up a potential buyer, explaining the merits of the SUV at the center of the infamous slow-speed pursuit that preceded his arrest on murder charges in June 1994.
"It was good for me--it helped me get away," Simpson quipped. "It's a car that I personally made famous. The car has escape-ability if you ever into some trouble."
While I am one of those people that believe OJ had something to do with the murder of wife, I don't think that really matters. Even if he didn't do it, that joke is in poor taste. I understand why Ronald Goldman's family is mad. Anyway, I'd have a heart attack if OJ Simpson jumped out in front of me screaming "You've just been Juiced!!". One, he's too damn old to be pranking people and two, he was on trial for murder. OJ, please stop playing. Besides, I'd take Ashton over him anyday...
Kelly's Album Pushed Back to 2007...
So, I've been hearing about this for a while but it has finally been confirmed. Billboard is reporting the Kelly Rowland's sophomore album has been pushed back for a 2007 release.
The release of Kelly Rowland's sophomore solo set for Columbia/Sony Urban Music, "My Story: Kelly Rowland," has been moved from July to first-quarter 2007. Manager Mathew Knowles says more time is needed to properly set up the project. "We want to make sure our marketing strategy is a multi-tiered approach that capitalizes on the synergies afforded by her other projects," Knowles tells Billboard.
Asked if more songs will now be recorded for the pushed-back set, Knowles says, "If she finds a better song or songs to add, we'll use them. But that's not the reason for changing the date. [Everyone] is pleased with the record Kelly made."
Matthew is telling a bold-faced lie. Just about every review I've read for Kelly's album was a bad review. I'm sure that's the real reason the album is being pushed back. They need to rework some things, I'm happy they pushed it back. I really like Kelly, but she definitely needs to step her game up. Her songs aren't bad, but they could be so much better. I know she can do it, the girl is really talented. I know a lot of people don't want to admit it, but Kelly will forever remain in Beyonce's shadow if she doesn't come hard with this album...

Star Has Been Arrested...
You already know Star from the "Star and Buc Wild Show" has been fired. Well, not only has he been fired, he was arrested today in New York...
A syndicated hip-hop disc jockey was arrested Friday on charges of harassment and endangering the welfare of a child in a case stemming from on-air racial and sexual remarks about a rival's wife and 4-year-old daughter. Police officials had launched a hate crime investigation of DJ Star on Thursday after reviewing a transcript of his recent rants about DJ Envy and his family.
DJ Star, whose real name is Troi Torain, was contacted by police on Friday and ordered to surrender a 9mm handgun and target practice permit at Police Headquarters. When he arrived, he was arrested and taken to the 1st Precinct in lower Manhattan, said police spokesman Paul Browne. A call to Torain's attorney was not immediately returned.
Torain had apologized on Thursday through the lawyer, Benjamin Brafman. The lawyer called the remarks "unsuitable and inappropriate" and assured the rival's wife she had nothing to fear. But he also claimed his client was the victim of threats by her husband.

Random Thought...
Yesterday a lot of the sites that I went to were discussing Ashlee Simpson's alleged nose job. I only say alleged because she won't confirm or deny if she had a nose job. But anybody with at least one good eye can clearly see that she had some work done, but whatever, the new nose isn't bad. Anyway, after reading the "breaking news" on her nose, lol, I had a thought. I was thinking, Why don't celebrities just tell the truth if they've had plastic surgery? Especially when it's blatantly obvious, ASHLEE. I'm not saying walk around with a sign saying "I've Had Work Done!!". I don't have a problem with plastic surgery whatsoever, if you want to fix your face, do it. It's your body, you should be allowed to "enhance" your features if you want. I'm all for self improvement. But don't go into an interview acting like you don't know what's going on when they ask you about surgery. Don't try to convince me you just instantly became prettier or thinner or whatever, when just a week ago you looked different. I can be a little naive, but I'm not blind. I know there are those people that accuse every celebrity under the sun of having plastic surgery. I'm not that person. I know our bodies (face included) change as we mature (especially during the transition from your teens to adulthood), but some changes just aren't natural. I only really question people who have plastic surgery that makes them look worse than they looked before the surgery (a la Vivica Fox, Lil Kim, & Michael Jackson). And no, I'm not calling Vivica and Lil Kim unattractive, I just think they looked better before the surgery. Anyway, I said all of this to say, Just admit it, we'll still like you. We still love Patti Labelle, Janet Jackson, and Toni Braxton (and they all look great)...

Star Has Been Fired...
And no, I'm not talking about Star Jones (but she is having her own job issues at the time). Anyway, I'm talking about Star from the radio show "The Star and Buc Wild Morning Show". It comes in Richmond on 106.5 the Beat, but I stopped listening to it. His shows are always tasteless and continuously cross the line. It's cool to make fun of people but you have to know your limits. Apparently he didn't know when to stop, which caused him to be fired. I am so happy to see him go. There's some things you just don't do and one of those things is threaten someone's 4 year old child, especially sexually (he reference's R. Kelly's sex tape). He's like 41 years old, he should know better. He is a sorry excuse for a man...
Radio host Star, of Power 105's "The Star and Buc Wild Morning Show," was terminated Wednesday following a news conference that blasted him for broadcasting sexual remarks about a rival host's 4-year-old daughter. In recent broadcasts, Star threatened to track down his rival's daughter, offered money to anyone who would tell him where she attended school and repeatedly described the degrading sexual acts he wanted to perform on her. He also claimed to carry a gun. "Where does this kid go to school? I got 500 bucks for that information," Star said. "Oh, yes, I'll come for your kids."
It was the latest salvo in the ongoing feud between New York City's two biggest hip-hop stations, Power 105 (WWPR/105.1 FM) and Hot 97 (WQHT/97.1 FM). Star, whose real name is Troi Torain, once worked at Hot 97, where his rival DJ Envy, born Raashaun Casey, is employed. Star, who calls himself "The Hater," has been in trouble before. In his Hot 97 days, he enraged fans of the singer Aaliyah by spoofing the plane crash that killed her.
Liu played a CD recording of Star's comments, which included sexually degrading remarks and racist slurs directed at DJ Envy's wife, Gia Casey, who is of Asian descent. Casey, who stood nearby, began crying part way through the playback. Shortly after the news conference Clear Channel suspended Star pending and investigation, but hours later the company released this statement: "Power 105 finds recent remarks broadcast by Troi Torain of the Star & Buc Wild Morning Show to be wholly unacceptable. As of late this afternoon, he is no longer with Power 105.1 or Clear Channel Radio. We sincerely apologize to those who may have been offended by his remarks."

You can now listen to Christina Milian's new album, "So Amazin'", before it is released on May 16th. This album has more of a hip hop feel than her previous albums. I listened to it about a week ago and I liked a few of the songs, the song "Ya'll Ain't Nuthin" is cool. I like "Gonna Tell Everybody". The album as a whole will have to grow on me though. I just knew. I put her in dance school at 2 years-old. As long as they were potty trained, they could be in dance school. Her dad was a singer and I was a dancer. I said a couple of prayers and God gave me a star. Two stars.

Britney's Pregnant Again...
The reports have been around for a while, but she herself confirmed it on the David Letterman show on Tuesday.
Britney Spears and husband Kevin Federline are expecting their second child together, Spears told David Letterman during a surprise visit to his show on Tuesday.
"Don't worry, Dave, it's not yours," the singer joked. "Oh. Well, I think that's good news for both of us," Letterman responded. Later in the show, after Letterman had Spears read the Top 10 List, he asked again: "So we’ve established now that you are, in fact, pregnant?" Spears responded, "Yes, sir."
Kevin may not be the best rapper or the cleanest looking guy, but he sure knows how to make babies. Kevin has Kori, 3, and Kaleb, 21 months, from his relationship with Shar Jackson. His son with Britney, Sean Preston, was just born in September. Kevin doesn't waste anytime. Kimora at "Candie's" Event...
On May 9th Kimora Lee Simmons attended the Candies Foundation's 3rd Annual "Event to Prevent" Gala in New York City. She looks really nice in the pictures and it's good to see her supporting a great cause. The Candie's Foundation is set up help prevent teen pregnancy and raise awareness. Poor Alicia Keys, co-star of the film, was forced to play along with Ms. Johansson by holding a sign that says, 'Me Too!' Later that day, Miss Keys explained that it was just a joke and she loves the paparazzi. The photographers did not wait around to hear the same thing from Scarlett.

Spotlight On: Megan Rochell
Here is a quick bio from her MySpace page: Megan Rochell is a 20 year old American R&B/soul singer, who is signed to Def Jam Records. Megan was born in Brooklyn, New York to her African American mother and her Puerto Rican father. At the age of eleven, she performed on Showtime At The Apollo, singing Monica's "Before You Walk Out My Life". She was then discovered by Nathan Morris a member of the Multi-platinum recording group Boyz II Men.
Her debut album, entitled "You Me and The Radio," is scheduled to hit stores during summer 2006. Her debut single will be "The One You Need" which was produced by Rodney Jerkins. "Girlfriends" Season Finale..
Don't forget to watch the one hour "Girlfriends" fifth season finale tonight at 9:00pm on UPN. This could be the last new episode we ever see. Fantasia's Lifetime Movie...
I've never been one of those women that liked watching "Lifetime" movies. My bestfriend loves them, I just can't get into them. But one "Lifetime" movie I will most definitely be tuning in to is Fantasia's upcoming movie "Life Is Not A Fairy Tale". The movie is based on Fantasia's bestselling book that details her rise to fame after overcoming many obstacles including rape and abuse. The movie will be directed by Debbie Allen and will star Fantasia along with Kadeem Hardison and Loretta Devine. The movie will premiere on "Lifetime" in August. Darren Mallory Sharper 101...
Ok, ever since I first saw the pictures of Gabrielle Union with Darren Sharper, I can't stop talking about him. He is one of the most attractive men I've ever seen in my life. I thought Will Demps was fine but Will doesn't have anything on Darren. I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but whatever it is, Darren's got it. Being the person that I am, I decided to find out more about him. To my surprise I learned that he is from my neck of the woods, Richmond, Virginia. For all of my fellow Richmonders, if you're wondering, he went to Hermitage High School. I keep on trying to tell everybody that people from Virginia are special, lol. Anyway, Darren plays for the Minnesota Vikings. He's 30, born on November 3, 1975 and he has a daughter named Amara that was born in 97. He went to the College of William and Mary and has a BA in Sociology. If you're feeling a bit stalkerish like me, lol, click the links to find out more.
