Ashanti...and her Mama

Ashanti also attended the American Music Awards which aired last night. I'm not sure how I feel about her dress, I think I would have liked it in another color, but then again it's kinda cute as-is (see, I don't know how I feel about this dress). I actually like Ashanti's hair, and I love her make-up. My mother and I were talking today about how make-up that is really "clean-faced" is the "in" thing right now (Trina, take note). Speaking of mothers, I understand that Ashanti and her mother are really close, I am also really close to my mother, but is it necessary for her mother to get all up in her pictures on the red carpet (backstage is cool, but the red carpet, I mean, can Ashanti shine by herself???)
